Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary to establish, or modify legal relationships with us (master data). This is done based on Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract. Data transferred when signing up for services and digital content

4. Plugins and tools

MyFonts - Web Font Tracking

On this website, we use MyFonts Counter, a web analysis service of Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc., 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, MA 01801, USA (hereafter: MyFonts). Based on the license terms, page view tracking is performed in which the number of visits to the website is counted for statistical purposes and transmitted to MyFonts. MyFonts collects the following data:

  • referrer URL
  • IP address
  • timestamp of the access
  • the URL of the licensed Web Site which is linked to a Customer ID

Myfont stores the IP address in encrypted log files with such data for 30 days to extract the monthly number of page views. After such extraction and storing the number of page views (without the IP or any other personal data), the log files are deleted. The log files are used to ensure compliance with the terms of a Web Font license agreement galoppfoto.de has entered into with Monotype and to allow Monotype to detect an abuse of their Web Fonts or the page view counter (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Myfont shares your personal information with their subsidiaries and affiliates but not with any third parties except in the following circumstances: MyFonts used and disclosed personal information they believe to be necessary or proper: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legal or regulatory processes; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to enforce MyFonts Terms of Use or Terms and Conditions of Business; (e) to protect Myfonts and their subsidiaries and affiliates businesses; (f) to protect Myfonts rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of MyFonts subsidiaries and affiliates, you or other third parties; and (g) to allow MyFonts to pursue remedies that may be available to MyFonts or to limit damages. In addition, MyFonts may transfer personal information and other information to a third party in the event of any financing due diligence, bankruptcy, reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of MyFonts business or assets, or those of MyFonts subsidiaries and affiliates.

Data may be transmitted by activating Java Script code in your browser. To prevent MyFonts from executing Java Script code entirely, you can install a Java Script blocker (e.g. www.noscript.net).
